Your home will be registered with NHBC and you have the assurance of knowing that we must build your home in accordance with NHBC’s Standards of construction, and that it will be protected by the Buildmark 10 year cover.

Buildmark is not a complete guarantee against all defects. Buildmark is an insurance policy which covers you against specified risks which could be very expensive to put right. It does not provide cover for general wear and tear, condensation, normal shrinkage, damage arising from failure to maintain the property, or minor faults which first appear after the second year.
Your copy of the Buildmark policy which fully specifies the cover provided will be given to you by your solicitor on completion.
When you move in, we will provide you with NHBC’s ‘Guide to your new home’. It contains useful information about ‘running-in’ your new home.
